Saving the future

Dear Posh bloggers, First off, I would like to send a big apology for being away for some time now. In absence I did some soul searching and research and my findings lead me to this.

Based on figures released from the Department of Health, one in 100 babies is born with disorders related to alcohol. In the past three years, a 50 per cent increase in babies with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) has been observed, while 313 babies suffering damage from alcohol exposure between 2012 and 2013 were born. With all this and more the uk government advocates of a new law to make drinking alcohol while pregnant a crime so as to reduce the rate of foetal alcohol syndrome.  Following a landmark test case, pregnant women who drink alcohol may face criminal charges. The court of appeals in the uk is set to hear the case of a six year old girl who was treated as a crime victim because she currently has brain damage due to the expose to alcohol while inside her mother’s womb. According to report, the mother was aware of what alcohol could do to her on born child.
It's very easy to say that they shouldn't get pregnant, but accidents happen, condoms split, the pill fails. We make excuses like in the moment of passion people don’t think. Yes mistakes happen; condoms aren’t 100% but what about contraceptives, watching your calendar. Some ladies don’t even know when they are ovulating and how serious sexually transmitted diseases are. Which brings me to the legalising of abortion. How is it logical for abortion to be legal, but for wilful neglecting the health of your unborn child to be legal? But would you rather have a new born laying on the streets dead or helpless just because he/she was unwanted? And those who do this act, why not avoid things like unwanted pregnancies and Hiv by simply wearing a condom.  I think we should do more than just point fingers. How about creating more awareness and educating the ignorant. It starts with you. An education is way overdue because in the regrettable absence of breeding licences there were way too many uneducated chavs out there spitting out kids like popcorn with no clue as to what’s right and wrong and then dumping them.
Did you know that a new born baby should be nursed eight to 12 times per day for about the first month? If you feel like you're feeding your little one more often than someone you know whose baby is formula fed, you might be. Why? Because breast milk digests easier than formula, which means it moves through your baby's digestive system faster and, therefore, makes your baby hungry more often. How do we expect a woman who lives on the streets and is ignorant and unaware for the dangers attached with pregnancy to feed her unborn child properly and be germ free?
During the period pregnancy, your body goes through remarkable changes as your baby grows and develops. Morning sickness, fatigue, swollen ankles, breast tenderness, vaginal and breast secretions, and joint pain are all common and perfectly normal.....CHANGES
For expecting couples the extra food you eat shouldn't just be empty calories — it should provide the nutrients your growing baby needs. For example, calcium helps make and keep bones and teeth strong. While you're pregnant, you still need calcium for your body, plus extra calcium for your developing baby....NUTRIENTS
As a new mother you might not know that when you are through the first trimester! it’s time to relax, but on the other, you need to be really vigilant about germs. You’re more susceptible to colds and viruses now, since your body’s immune system is naturally suppressed to prevent your body from rejecting your baby. Wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap, and make sure to wash the cuticles and fingernails too. Avoid sick people, don’t share food or utensils, and be careful with food preparation....GERMS
Every once  in a while we like to take a glass of wine and tell ourselves that it is for easy digestion which is good but when we are expecting a baby its best avoided. Because If you want to guarantee safety and you want to guarantee no risk then no alcohol is the safest route. Let’s try not deceiving ourselves for no amount of alcohol consumption should be considered safe during pregnancy...NO 2 ALCOHOL
Where do you draw the line over a woman's behaviour during pregnancy? The government should put more energy into proper "life" education policies in schools and colleges and less interfering in private lives"?... QUESTION

prisoners of love and hope

Dear posh bloggers,
It’s the perfect time to create and fulfil a dream for your loved one but first you must hear about their dreams, what they love, what they dream about, what they'd like to learn and places they would like to go. Let them talk freely and then take down a few down help create those dreams. Like I always say spoiling is a primary relationship component and it should be done regularly and reciprocated by both parties.

For most women, valentine day is really a big deal, so whatever you have planned for February 14th this year, be sure to make it memorable. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune or be especially elaborate, but making her feel special is essential. Its not how much a card cost,is the thought behind it and the words that bind it. so when getting you woman a card add a note about how much you love her,how much she means to you, and any other positive feelings you have{ no its not chessy}.The personal part is what is romantic to her ,not how much lace is on the card or how much you spent on it. valentines day should be seen as a fun and a day to be thankful for the ones we love. valentines day is about the ability to express our love in words and more.

Wars of valetine: If your not anti-valentine and your not single i see no reason why you shouldnt appericate the ones you love everyday, especially on valentines day. Too many of us tend to get in front of the computer late at night for gaming, chatting or other online stuff. For this one night, leave the computer off ,turn off you blackberry and S4's and focus on your partners by giving each other undivided attention.

Marriage doesnt mean boring, it means you get to do things together with out rules. Spice it up by doing scavenger hunt games. Ask him/her to answer riddles to find the clues to items that you placed somewhere around town. The last item should give instructions that lead to your Valentine’s Day activities. You could also make a dinner reservation somewhere fancy[restaurant that you enjoyed when you first met] and dress up in your finest. Dressing up always makes the occasion feel extra special. your partner would love that you put thought and planning into making a reservation. hint your partner{woman}so she can get her self ready for a wild night. If you really cant go out then have candlelight dinner for two at home, give your spouse a massage and watch a romantic movie.

For the husbands, we all know your out making the bacon but this day was created for you and her to ball. A good start would be to have 11 roses delivered to your wife, and then give her a 12th yourself while reading her a love poem and the rest is up to you. finish up with a grand surprise[anticipation is only half the fun of a romantic surprise].

For the wives,Focus on the things you love about your husband and not their shortcomings. make a special “14 Reasons I Love You” Valentine’s Day breakfast for your sweetheart. On his/her plate, leave a letter or card listing 14 reasons that you love your spouse or you could show up at your husband’s office before lunch. Call him from the parking lot and tell him you are going to take him for a lunch rendezvous and that you will be waiting for him whenever he can take a break. Wear a nice outfit and tell him you have something sexy on underneath for when he gets home. Take him to a nice place for lunch and back to the office. Give him some great kisses telling him how glad you are to be married to him, and tell him you will be waiting for him when he gets home

For parents, making valentines with your kids is as sweet as it gets. Kids arent left out on valentines day because they get to hang out with friends and family. at school they get to cut and color with friends while at home they get to hang out with fam and enjoy as much chocolate as they want. Order food from a take-out restaurant and have a picnic for all the Valentines in your family on your living room floor. The kids look forward to this season because of all chocolates and candies every year. As a kid my folks tried to change it, but i and my brother wouldn’t for the life of us allow it and hence it became a tradition. kids see the value of family and a loving marriage.”

Everyday is worth celebrating and where there is time there is hope. Humans are prisoners of love and hope. I say if you love someone and you’ve got the time, money and freedom, stretch your Valentine’s Day into a Valentine’s weekend away at a romantic resort far away.
Two days away....happy valentine.
